My name is Sabrina but online I go by Smuppey. I’m a Brazilian-American artist passionate about telling the intricate and complex stories of the many morally grey characters running around my head. I have been writing and drawing my whole life and the desire to tell stories has been a part of me for as long as I can remember.
I specialize on character design and writing interpersonal conflict; Seeking Scars, my first self-published project, is a testament to this passion.

Haunted by the evil in his past, Seth, an amateur occultist, returns to a town he never thought he’d revisit in search of forgiveness. Though he yearns for closure all he really does is reopen old wounds, both in himself and those he’s wronged. Him and his friends had spent their lives searching for knowledge and power. Together, they find what others only believed real in stories. Now, a year after splitting, Seth returns to find nothing but ashes.
SEEKING SCARS has been my primary focus since August 2024. As a webcomic, it is able to flex both my writing skills alongside my illustration and visual storytelling abilities. Here, I explore themes such as grief, remorse, and the desire to improve and reconnect. Seth’s story means a lot to me and is projected to be complete by fall of 2026.
